easter 2010

It all started out on Good Friday - heading to the Broadway Market at 6:20 am to get polish sausage, pierogies, butter lamb, chocolate, etc and the go out to breakfast. We had such a fun morning - later Holden helped Mommy make a Lamb Cake. The lamb cake is one of my families traditions. Since Aunt Jenna and Uncle Nick were not able to attend this year - Holden and I decided to make a Lamb Cake for Aunt Jenna and Uncle Nick.

I was always a fan of Pas egg dye, but since I was late buying, I had to settle on Dudley brand. I AM SOLD. The colors were fantastic and we had a lot of fun dying the eggs.

The Easter Bunny actually came to our house, and Bowie slept through it all... the chocolate plane was the hit along with the chocolate hockey puck.. YEAH Easter Bunny.

After church, we stopped by the hospital and since it was a beautiful day, Aunt Jenna was able to come outside and Holden got to see her without being 14 yrs old. Grammie, G Grandma and Uncle John came over for dinner and then Uncle Nick stopped by for a "package of food". Life is Good!
