Last Sunday, the sun was out, it was a beautiful day, a little chilly in the upper 20's or maybe even 30's and the field down the street from us had the perfect pond to go skating on. Normally, the drain is open, but in the winter, someone blocks the drain and a nice pond is created. So we took advantage of it and went ice skating. This was Holden's 2nd official time on the ice. Mommy even dug out here frozen skates and took a whirl around (with the chair- still figuring out the skating concept. I can skate, just not stop so well..... Holden learned how to get up with his hockey stick, passing the puck without falling down and how to laugh at Mommy because she needs a chair and he doesn't
I think we have a future hockey star in the works
