On October 3rd, we drove out to Bennington to look at a puppy.... who just looks at puppies right??? Well, after many patient hours, we drove home with Ozwald Trip Bates (Holden gave him his middle name...it was a LONG trip to get him). Ozwald was born June 28, 2011 and the night we brought him home weighed 46 lbs.

Ozwald is a full bred St Bernard, who is expected to weigh more than 180lbs. His Daddy Henry, weighs 180 now and he is just 2yrs old. He is so sweet, mellow and a big goof ball.

He will soon find out that laying next to the wood stove is not a good idea.
