Getting Ready for Baby # 2 Spring time

After Christmas, it was time to go through all the baby stuff and sort out what we had. We were getting ready for Brister to arrive in July. Brister = brother or sister for Holden

Thank Goodness for Mom-Mom. She came up to visit in March while Kyle was in Alaska and spent many of hours going through the baby clothes and sorting them, the baby toys and everything else in the attic. She also cleaned out since we had some tenants living in the attic as well. Needless to say, EVERYTHING got washed! Some things even bleached! and some tossed. We cleaned out some misc. stuff, but reorganized alot. Since we were not finding out the sex of the baby, Mom-Mom sorted the clothes into sizes.... man, did we have ALOT of clothes.

As time grew closer, Aunt Joni and Mom-Mom were getting nervous that the crib, changing table and bassinet were still packed away. Kyle and I figured, what do you really need for a baby when the are small????

1. Car seat - we dug it out, cleaned it and got it ready

2. place to sleep - got out the bassinet, cleaned it, put it together (minus the sheet)

3. place to change diaper - we have a sofa....but thought we should get the changing table out and see what we needed.

This seemed to put Mom-Mom and Aunt Joni at ease .....well for a while at least :)
